Collaborations and Supervision
Collaborations
During my academic journey, I was lucky to be involved in many collaborations with different research groups and amazing students and collaborators. I deeply believe that research is a community effort where the sharing of knowledge and collaborations are more powerful than individualities.
I am open to any collaboration with professors and postdoctoral researchers as long as there is a mutual interest in the topics and our principles are aligned. Bonus point if you are located in the Bay Area! Interdisciplinary collaborations are more than welcome (bonus point for people from neuroscience!)!
If you are interested, please contact me via email or LinkedIn.
Supervision
I am available for supervision/mentoring of students on topics related to eXplainable Artificial Intelligence. Both international (remote meetings only) and local students are welcome. I am open to students at any level (undergrads, masters, PhDs) as long as they have the expected knowledge from a student of their level before joining the project.
There are several available projects, but I would be happy to help you with your idea if you have any. Below, you can find a list of topics (and related papers) on which I have ideas and projects.
If you are interested in my supervision, please send me an email with the subject [supervision], including some info about you and your interests. If you are interested in one of the topics listed below, please read the related papers and think about possible extensions. Usually, my response time is less than one day.
Topics
You can check the projects available at AIEA Lab.
Additionally, I am interested in the following topics:
- Explaining Deep Learning through Memory Tracking
- Explaining Reinforcement Learning
- Mechanistic Interpretability
- Understanding Neurons Behavior in Deep Learning
- Prototype-based Neural Networks
- Concept-based Neural Networks
- Quantitative Evaluation of Explanations
- Visual Analytics for Explainable AI
